Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 July 2026 · Draft — to be reviewed by legal counsel before publication.
1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading or using the Carry app or this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Carry.
2. What Carry is — and is not
Carry is a personal coordination aid for clinicians: a fast way to capture, track and hand off shift tasks.
Carry is not a medical record, a clinical decision-support tool, or a substitute for the hospital EMR or institutional handoff procedures. It provides no medical advice. Clinical judgement and institutional protocols always take precedence.
3. Eligibility & responsible use
Carry is intended for practising healthcare professionals aged 18 or over. You agree to:
- use only de-identified references (bed numbers and initials) as the app is designed for;
- comply with your institution's policies on patient information;
- not rely on Carry as the sole record of any clinical task or obligation.
4. Your data
App data is stored on your device and remains yours. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Intellectual property
The Carry name, logo, app and website content are our property or licensed to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose.
6. Availability & changes
Carry is under active development. Features may change, be added or removed, and availability is not guaranteed. We may update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Carry is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the app — including missed, incomplete or inaccurate task entries. Responsibility for patient care rests solely with the treating clinicians and institution.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [City], India.
